Friends of Muhlenberg County Cemeteries (FMCC) focuses on cemetery preservation and maintenance throughout the county. We strive to be Champions of Cemeteries.

All cemeteries tell a story. The individuals that are interred in them all led different lives; some were pioneers who trail blazed the "wild west." Others were veterans who fought to protect American freedom. Yet all were fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, or friends.

While each cemetery may tell a unique story, some are difficult to be accessed or visited. Scores of cemeteries throughout Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, have become overtaken by forest growth and low-lying vegetation, not to mention numerous grave markers which are now toppled over and hidden beneath the sod; other headstones are engulfed in brambles. Friends of Muhlenberg County Cemeteries is ready to take action to save these historic cemeteries throughout the county! With your support we can repair and maintain cemeteries that have been neglected throughout the years. The individuals interred in cemeteries throughout the county have long since lost their voices--but we have not. So please help us as we work to preserve and maintain cemeteries that are crucial to our Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, history. Join the crusade to be Champions of Cemeteries!
